Lotteries & Gaming Laws 2021
The Imo state law No: 4 of 2021 which may be cited as
the Imo State Lotteries and Gaming Authority Law is a law to repeal the Imo
State Pools Betting, Gaming, Casino and Lotteries Board Law No: 44 of 2019
established to regulate all lottery and gaming activities in Imo state and for
other related matters. This Law was enacted by the Imo State House of Assembly
and was assented to by the Governor of Imo state Distinguished SEN. Hope
Uzodinma on the 26th day of May, 2021.
The Imo state Lotteries and Gaming Authority Law No: 4
of 2021 was necessitated considering the rinsing technological innovation and
advancement and contemporary issues in the gaming sector of the state, thereby
providing adequate protection for all stakeholders and the gaming ecosystem at
large.
